Starting in 2003, a group of local volunteers have been taking sandwiches and soup out on the streets of Portsmouth during Saturday lunchtime, sharing a meal with those who don't have one. We spend time sitting and talking, listening and laughing with the people that come.

This is one way that we meet people in need and begin to build relationships with them. It is within the context of this community that we have supported several individuals in finding jobs, housing, and a new purpose and direction for their lives.
