The Art Den is a creative arts community where disadvantaged and disconnected young individuals can come and express themselves creatively in a safe and supportive environment.

We believe that the arts can be used powerfully to build self-esteem, regardless of artistic skill, and to effect social change as people work through their problems with paint and poetry, music and conversation.

Currently meeting weekly in Portsmouth, NH, the Art Den seeks to build supportive relationships where participants are encouraged both to dream and to achieve positive goals for their lives.
